How to Play: The Fifth Echo

Welcome to The Fifth Echo, a challenging puzzle-platformer where your biggest obstacle is... yourself!

Your Mission: Guide your main character through each level, navigating treacherous terrain and collecting vital items, all while racing against the clock.

Controls:

  • Arrow Keys: Use the Left and Right arrow keys to move your person horizontally. Press the Up arrow key to jump.

The Time Paradox: Each time you successfully complete a level, a "ghost" copy of your previous run will appear! These are your past selves, replaying every move you made. Your critical task is to avoid touching any of your past copies. Colliding with a ghost will result in a time paradox, forcing you to restart the level.

Level Objectives:

  1. Reach the End: Find the flag at the end of each level.
  2. Time Limit: Complete each level in under 30 seconds.
  3. Survive with Copies: To truly master the game, you must reach the end of the final level with all five copies of yourself actively present on the screen, successfully avoiding them all.

Good luck, and try not to break time!

I actually really reaaally like the idea of the game and its actually challenging and unique but the music is too loud (good tho), I sometimes respawn after the rewind directly in another version or on a random block so I lose fast but overall its really good, a bit hard tho I couldnt  finish level one :skull:

Thanks so much for the feedback! My first game jam so I'm happy regardless of my result and I am planning to continue working on this project following the conclusion of the voting period, so I appreciate the feedback a lot!

you're welcome, I would like to play a finalized version and don't forget to try my gaame!
